Becoming a Tutor
UD tutors must meet these qualifications:
- overall GPA of at least 3.00
- 30 or more earned credit hours or sophomore standing
- at least a “B” average in subjects of expertise
- a grade of at least B+ in each course you are tutoring
- good communication skills
- good interpersonal skills
- knowledge of the University community

TUTOR CERTIFICATION
Now available (for 0-1 credit hours), a series of Peer Tutor Practica (UNIV240, 340, 440) gives tutors an opportunity to obtain official certification through CRLA & ATP and to partially fulfill their Discovery Learning Experience (DLE) requirement.
